Laboratory

All of the computer systems in the department are interconnected by a switched Ethernet local network, which is connected to the Internet via fiber optic technology to the campus backbone. The department has seven main servers, six of which are linux (7.2) based, running on PIII and PIV processors, and one windows NT based running on PII. Library

Apart from the central library common to the entire university, the department has a library of its own under the banner of the TUCS (Tezpur University Computer Society).
