The department has Central library of the University is provided with a rich and varied collection of 114000 books, 190 periodicals and 118 magazines and other holdings enriched primarily on account of the generous support extended by the UGC. The library extends photocopying facilities for the benefit of the users. The library has back volumes on the stacks numbering 13,600.
