Private University Estd. 1952 NIRF #1 (Medical) 2024Department of Anaesthesiology is affiliated to Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj Medical University. In the year 1961, a separate chair for anaesthesiology was created, thus establishing the first separate Department of Anaesthesiology in the state of Uttar Pradesh. There are 7 seats annually for the MD course and 5 seats for the diploma course which are filled up by government nominees (DAPGs).
