CMR Institute of Technology is affiliated to Visvesvarya Technological University. CMRIT was set up in order to meet the rapid growing need of I.T. Professionals. The broad objectives of CMRIT is to impart quality education and help students to develop creative thinking, analytical ability and to acquire managerial techniques both in practical fields as well in academics. The institute offers MBA, MCA, B.E, and M.E courses in various streams.

Faculty won't recognise talent

College has good infrastructure, but faculty are inexperienced. There will not be any practical demonstration on topics. And last, if we talk good with faculty, then there will not be any problem to your percentage. Good transport facility. Pollution free environment.

Good Infrastructure and decent placements

In CMRIT, you will get decent placements in CSE, ISE and ECE branches. Infrastructure is quite good but the college authority is strict regarding attendance. They ask for 85% of attendance which makes it a school-environment. As far as teaching quality is concerned this institute has some good bunch of faculties. This college has a quality basketball court and volleyball court which makes it better in sports as compared to other college. Additionally, it has a CCD outlet in the campus and quite decent cafeteria to chill. This institute is affiliated to VTU. VTU syllabus is outdated as compared to other universities in India.The fee structure is high. Placements are good though. About 90% of the students get placed in good companies.

It's a very good experience to learn in this college where we can learn various concepts practically as well as theoretically. The college environment is beautiful to get loved by students. The faculty is also well experienced in teaching and other activities.

Infrastructure is good. Play ground is small. Canteen is clean and hygienic. Theoretical knowledge of the teachers is great. Practical knowledge needs improvement. Some of the Faculties are really good at teaching. All of them are friendly.
