Christ University was formerly Christ College (Autonomous) affiliated to Bangalore University. Established in July 1969, Christ College became the most preferred educational institution in the city of Bangalore within the first three decades. It has the rare distinction to be the first institution in Karnataka to be accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) UGC for quality education. Under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, Ministry of Human Resources Development of the Union Government of India, vide Notification No. F. 9-34/2007-U.3(A), has declared it a Deemed to be University, in the name and style of Christ University

The placement department strives to place the students in various organizations depending on their areas of interest and also provides guidance, training and facilitation to prepare the students for the challenges ahead in career. The vision of the placement department is to achieve 100% placements.

University has a Well-maintained gardens and buildings, air-conditioned seminar halls, panel room, conference hall, assembly hall, auditorium, health club, kiosk, hostel facility for girl students and all the requirements of an institute of higher learning are the unique features of this university.

Attendance is 85% ,sounds Hard but it's quite manageable
College is amazing crowd wise
But due to its strict rules and regulations it is kind off irritating
And it's a bit overrated college
But it has its own fun
0% ragging in college
Faculty is not very great
But as I said due to the crowd colllege is fun
And the college is full of events and activities
College never gets tried in that case
