Laboratory

The institute provide Bio-Chemistry and Microbiology lab, Chemical Analysis and Quality Control lab, Food Processing and Product Development lab, Food Engineering Properties and Drying lab, Material Testing lab, Seeding and Planting lab, Food packaging, handling and storage lab. The Computer Aided Design Cell of the Institute is well equipped with computers and CAD software for design and development of new equipment and design refinement of existing equipment.

Library

The CIAE Library is well equipped to take care of needs of Scientists and other staff. It has a vast collection of latest books and journals in the field of Agricultural Engineering and its allied subjects. The Library has total collection of 11921 books, 4169 bound journals, 3405 reports/ bulletins, 98 CIAE publications, and 245 CD-ROM’s. At present Library subscribes 135 journals, out of which 87 are Indian and 48 Foreign journals.
