B.N.M Institute of Technology is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological Universit and approved by AICTE. BNMIT founded by Bhageerathi Bai Narayana Rao Maanay (B. N. M.) Charities just 6 years ago has grown into a prestigious institution imparting quality engineering education embedded with our great Indian tradition. Since its inception BNMIT has had an exceedingly good performance in the VTU Examinations with 95-100% results. BNMIT has provided excellent, experienced and dedicated faculty members who are its pillars of strength. The institute provides Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Business Administration (MBA) courses.

Placement

The placement center establishes contact with various industries to find out their requirement of man power and invites them for conducting campus recruitment process. The students of final and pre final year who satisfy the eligibility criteria (usually above 60% aggregate) attend the selection process comprising of aptitude test, Group Discussion, Technical interview and HR interview.

The institute has state of the art infrastructure with all modern facilities.

Library

The BNMIT Library Information Centre is aesthetically housed in a round building with adequate space and good ambience having a total seating capacity of 105 students. It has a total document collection of 15,512 volumes of reference books & textbooks with 3,654 titles, project reports, back volume of technical journals and 650 non-book formats like learning CDROMS. Mixed feeling about the college.

Pros :- 1. If you want to go for higher studies then only this college is good for you. 2. Cultural exposer is good. 3. Very disciplined. Cons :- 1. Campus is very small, like literally small. 2. Placements are not so good. Max to max only 15 companies will visit the campus. 3. Mobile phones are not allowed. 4. Sometime rules are to the extremes. 5. You don't get time for learning something extra, apart from course. Because college will from 8:15am to 4:45pm.

Good Institute

The college is located in a good area. Surrounding is clean and safe. Good parking facility. Easy access to public transport. Amazing infrastructure. Canteen serves good food. Hostels are located at a distance, It can be improved. Extracurricular activities takes place on a regular basis. More placements should be offered to the students. Salary package should increase. Faculties are good, they are helpful and approachable. Teaching quality is up to expectations.

The faculty members are awesome. Its located in the heart of Bengaluru, so the campus is small. Labs are awesome. The discipline at its top level. There is good environment for studies. A few things I would like to say about BNMIT

BNMIT Stands for Bhageerathi Bai Narayan Rao Maanay institute of technology (Yeah, that's a long name) and the college is as conservative as the name itself. It's not really the Harvard of Bangalore, but it somehow qualifies as a university, despite its aversion to phones and heterosexual interaction. Nonetheless, it promises smiles. For your parents and a great deal of maturity and pressure management for you.
