The Bishop Cotton Women's Christian Law College is recognized by the Government of Karnataka and it is affiliated to Karnataka State Law University and approved by the Bar Council of India. The college is managed by the Board of Management of Karnataka Central Diocese of Church of South India. The Bishop Cotton Women’s Christian Law College is the only college in India, which offers 5 Year Integrated Law Course, exclusively for women imparting legal education. It also offers 3 years LL.B course for the graduates.

Infrastructures

The Law College has a wonderful building in C.S.I. Compound, Bangalore. It is provided with a well equipped Library, a classically designed Moot Court Hall, a posh Seminar Hall, a self contained Staff Room, spacious Class Rooms and a Computer Lab.

Laboratory

Approximately 20 computers are available. Those who are doing Diploma Course on Corporate Laws will be using the computers.

Library

Books pertaining to the syllabus for the course, Biographies and Autobiographies, Fictions for extra reading, Journals of various kinds, case reports and weekly and dailies get their places in the stacks in the Library. The students are motivated to cultivate reading habit. Library usage for one hour a week is made compulsory for the students. It is believed that an elaborate reading makes them “complete Lawyers”. E-library is an added credit. Internet facility is available.

The college is located in Bangalore. Good surrounding. Easy access to public transport. Proximity to airport. Hostel and academic facilities are great. More extracurricular activities should be organised. Campus crowd is a mixture of obedient and disobedient students. Only 20% of the students get placed in reputed companies. Teachers are great. They provide its students with relevant notes and knowledge. They are highly experienced and educated.
