The objective of the institute is to provide students adequate knowledge in various self oriented professional courses like Computer Science, Electronics, Instrumentation and Food Technology. Placement cell of the college looks after training and placement of students. The cell coordinates with industries and organisations (R&D) to explore the employment opportunities and invites these organisations to the college campus for placements.

The college is placed in the Dwarka, New Delhi, extended in an area of over ten acres land. The campus of the college is well designed & well equipped with modern amenities. The well constructed building of the college is fully fit out with laboratories, conference room, an Audio Visual Hall, Library spanning three separate floors, an open Air Theatre and indoor and outdoor sports facility.

The well stocked library of the college was established in 1995 with an objective of imparting value based knowledge for the students & faculty. The library of the college is set up in a sizeable well kit three-storied edifice, which is called library block. The library has a vast collection of text as well as reference books, serial publications and non-print materials. Except of this the library also provides separate reading room, reprography and internet facilities for its learners
