The institute is run by the charitable society namely, Shri Banarsidas Chandiwala Sewa Smark Trust Society, which was established in 1952 by Late Shri Brijkrishn Chandiwala. The institute is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University for its M.B.A programme. The Institute focuses on developing skills, team building & leadership skills. The mission & vision of the institute is to be student centric through innovation and pedagogy, research, faculty development, collaboration with industry, institutions and high quality infrastructure and to help the students develop ethical decision making capabilities and expand their skills and knowledge eternally beyond the visible capabilities.

Placement
Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute Of Professional Studies (BCIPS) placement cell is headed by Pooja Arora and also supported by 6 students placement committee members. The committee play an important role in inviting industry expert for seminars, Guest lecturers for students so that they can learn something from the veteran of the industry. The placement maintain a fruitful relationship with industry and conduct various workshop for the students.

The classrooms of BCIPS provide the most conductive atmosphere for focused discussion between the students and the faculty. Each classroom is equipped with training aids to augment interactive learning. The classrooms are air-conditioned, spacious and well ventilated to facilitate the teaching learning process.

The computer lab at the institute is equipped with latest Pentium D computers with student terminal ratio as 1:1. All computers in the institute are connected through Local Area Network.
Library
The library includes an extensive collection of over 1000 books on management and related area besides periodicals and journals. The air conditioning in the library provides comfortable environment for prolonged reading sessions. A facility of photocopying & scanning is provided.
