The Academy for Technical & Management Excellence Trust was founded by a group of like-minded people in the year 2007. The promoters of ATME are leading technocrats who have founded and managing Manufacturing, Infrastructure Development & ITES enterprises and are well aware of the industry needs under the different streams of engineering.
in order to keep up with the objective of preparing thoroughbred professionals for the global society of tomorrow, with sensitivity to the fast-changing needs of the ongoing knowledge-age, ATME, apart from the regular curriculum offered by VTU, has adopted various programs like soft skill development right from first year, industry internship during semester breaks, etc. so that they can be readily be absorbed by the Industry.
The promoters are also encouraging entrepreneurship development among students by conducting Entrepreneurship Development Programmes to motivate and guide students to take up self-employment and an entrepreneurial career. ATME is also setting up an incubation centre which would attract innovative ideas from budding engineers and help them convert it to suitable sustainable models.

Placement
Placement for ATME’s first outgoing batch is extremely remarkable. When the entire country is grappling hard to come to terms with the current economic crisis, more than 80% of the eligible students of ATME are placed in reputed organisations. The Training and Placement cell endeavours to provide career development and job oriented training to the students, headed by experienced department coordinators. The cell provides enough opportunities for the students to get placed in National and Multinational companies. The cell has been playing dual roles of assessing ever-changing industrial requirements, grooming and estimating inherent talents of the students. This placement record serves as a testament to the ability and potential of ATME.

Classroom
The classrooms at ATME are designed to provide a perfect environment for students. The desks in the classrooms are ergonomically designed so that students can adjust the desk according to their requirement.
The digital classrooms have state-of-the-art projectors and cutting-edge display materials so that any topic can be animated and the same can be practically visualized by the students to perfection.
Laboratory
The college has individual laboratories for every department, it has a separate CAD Lab, Computer Lab, Mechanical Engineering Labs, Electrical Engineering Labs, Electronic Labs along with basic science labs of Physics and Chemistry, as per the norms and standards of the University.
These labs along with the smithy and workshops will facilitate every kind of experimentation the faculty and the students can think, conceive and execute.
Computer Center
Library
The treasure house of books and Knowledge is open for academicians and students. The library comprises of more than 4000 volumes, in the first year itself, consisting of required titles and authors to cater to the student's requirement to enhance their knowledge.
The state-of-the-art library spread over 700 Sq. Mtrs in two levels. The ground floor acts as a lending section and first floor acts as a reference section. The reference section with a capacity of about 250 student
