Apollo Medvarsity was found in the year 2000. It was the first medical e-learning venture was established in India to provide complementary medical education using information technology. Medvarsity complements the existing medical education infrastructure by providing a dynamic network of various medical colleges across the country. It enables students, faculty and practitioners to participate in the virtual classroom, where they can interact with the global peer community and have access to knowledge, resources and techniques cutting across geographical barriers.
