Infrastructures

 The Campus has an excellent infrastructure which includes airy, Global Studies classrooms; a Global Studies stocked Library, Hi-tech Computer lab, Faculty Room and a Global Studies defined parking lot for students, faculty and visitors. Distinguished Industry drawn faculty mentors students and Industry visits, too, area routine feature.

Classroom

The University has a well equipped audio-visual classroom with state of the art equipments and includes LCD projector, Computer, Overhead projector, adequate chairs, tables etc. which helps in conducting interactive sessions and project presentations.

Laboratory

The college has a state-of-art computer laboratory equipped with 60 P-IV nodes on LAN system with free internet access through 512 Kbps broadband facility.

Library

The Central library is well equipped with periodicals, text books, study material, major dailies and popular magazines for both students and faculty. It is also well equipped with a large number of management books, foreign management journals and periodicals, besides a good collection of light reading materials.

What can be better than the institute which males you feel like home.

REVIEWED MANY COLLEGES Perfect mixture pf tradition and culture along with the modern science and studies....institute which gives us memorable moments and at the same time enlighten us with wosdom and successful future...other than this the faculty treats the student as their own ward and help in guiding the like a perfect guardian.

The faculty and facilities were not specialised

The course requires a competent faculty and the university was paying salary to some incompetent professors. There were not any extracurricular activities in that course like GDs and students were attending the class only for attendance and there was lack of exposure. Hostel facilities were good. As the university is a central university, they provide education for a nominal fee and hostel as well.

The beginning of enlightenment

I think personality type is a very important parameter for ruling out the best university to be in. Well ,AMU has a lot to offer if you are the type to take advantage of them.The huge lush green campus spread over 467 hectares,the professors who devote time in making this undergrad program stellar,friendly environment and welcoming staffs are a unique combination that affectionately starts binding you to the institution.Yes hostel food is always a nightmare and quality provided has a scope for improvement nevertheless the hostel life is incredible and senior-junior relationship gives you some of the most cherished memories during the stay.It provides best combination of traditionalism with modernism(keeping extremists at bay,one has to be rational ). Ofcourse it's not going to be a one sized fits all experience,but as long as you find people with similar interests and mentality ,work diligently and think beyond the horizon you'll have one of the best experience of your life.

Social work is based on scientific knowledge and skills in human being

Social work is a professional course based on scientific knowledge and skills in human beings to uplift and enhance the social life of a human being. Campus is huge. Campus crowd is average. Placements are 100% though, packages are average. The faculty is good here.

Aligarh Muslim University: Historical and Foundation of Aligarh Muslim University

The main campus of AMU is located in the city of Aligarh. Spread over 467.6 hectares, AMU offers more than 300 courses in both traditional and modern branches of education. In addition to this, it has three off campus centres at Malappuram(kerala), Murshidabad(west Bengal)and Kishanganj(Bihar). The university comprises all castes, creeds, religions and genders and is an institute of national importance provided under the Seventh Schedule of the Constitution at its commencement. Sherwani is worn by male students of the university and is a traditional attire of the university. It is required to be worn during official programs. The university provides sherwani at a subsidized price. Sports and cultural activities are executed by various clubs available in the campus. the most important and oldest is the Cricket Club and Horse Riding Club.
