AJK MCRC is globally recognised as a premium institution in the field of mass communication. It offers graduate and post-graduate courses in the art, craft and technology of the modern media.The AJK Mass Communication Research Centre was recognized as an autonomous unit of the university with a Board of Management for supervising its functioning.

Placement

The AJK Mass Communication Research Centre has established his own Training & placement cell in the campus .

Infrastructures

The institute has well equipped with all modern facilities.There are two fully equipped HDTV studios for multi-camera productions, one studio for SD production with virtual set and an adequate number of DV cameras with accessories for single camera shoots. As part of its social commitment to the area in which the University is located, AJK MCRC, runs a community radio station on 90.4 FM.

Classroom

The institute has fully furnished a/c classroom with LCD.

Library

The institute media library has a large collection of books, journals, films, video cassettes, audio cassettes, stock shots, and press clippings for the exclusive use of students of MCRC. It caters to the production and professional needs of the students and producers. Students are entitled to use the Zakir Hussian Library of the university for their wider intellectual interest.
