Utter confusion! Sweating! Dizziness! Drowsiness! Being haunted by an urge to kill!
In case you are wondering, I had my first entrance exam today- for IIM Indore. Huffing and panting, I finally managed to reach my centre, rushing towards my desk in the allotted classroom, trying hard to ignore all the amused stares.
10:00 am
Received the test booklet and started filling the OMR sheet hurriedly.
10:15 am
Asked the invigilator if I could use the washroom. I was refused.
‘Too late!’, I thought with a sinking feeling.
At long last, the bell rang and I hurriedly picked up my pencil to start solving whichever question I could.
Ringggg!!!!
12:30 pm
I had stopped writing 5 minutes earlier, plainly flipping through the pages of the booklet, frantically looking for more questions I could attempt.
The question-How was your paper?-though asked by everyone, is always a huge downer. Having to reflect upon what you just did is upsetting for some. More so, when you have applied for exactly one entrance and are completely dependent on your board result, all the while wondering whether you have made the right choice.
With all kinds of depressing thoughts invading my mind, I started making my way back home, along the same difficult path I had tread on that morning, feeling terribly low and tired.
The very sight of my bed is what perked me up, and I hopped on, comforted by my pillow, the prudent thoughts of my future fading away as I drifted away into a sleepy oblivion.
