XAT Syllabus 2022: XAT 2022 syllabus will provide the insights of XAT exam. All the XAT aspirants must check the syllabus of Xavier’s Aptitude Test. It will help them prepare for the exam in a better manner. Candidates will be able to understand the topics which will be covered in the exam. Though, XLRI does not announce the syllabus officially but on the basis of previous question papers and exam pattern, experts have designed the syllabus of XAT 2022. There is a broad range of topics which are covered in the XAT syllabus 2022 which includes Verbal & Logical Ability, Decision Making and Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation and General Knowledge. 

XLRI has announced the exam date of XAT 2022 i.e. January 7, 2022. The application process of XAT is expected to start from the third week of August. All the interested candidates must begin to prepare for the exam as there will be a tough competition.

XAT Syllabus 2022

XAT 2022 will be conducted at various centres across India. Ideally, candidates who have applied for the same should start preparing for the exam six months in advance. To get a better understanding of what needs to be covered for this examination, students should know about the syllabus and exam pattern in detail.

XAT Exam Pattern 2022

It is important to know the exam pattern of XAT 2022.Here we give you a low-down of the exam pattern followed by XAT 2022 syllabus. The paper will be divided into two papers. Paper 1 will have three sections and objective questions will be asked. Paper 2 will consist of 2 sections which will include subjective type questions. XAT exam will incorporate the following subjects:

XAT Syllabus 2022: Marking Scheme

Each question will carry one mark and for each wrong attempt, there will be negative marking of 1/4 marks. After 12 unattempted questions, there will be negative marking of 0.05 marks.

XAT Syllabus 2022: Verbal and Logical Ability

In this section, candidate’s command over the English language will be evaluated. It will cover most of the questions from vocabulary, English usage and reading comprehensions. Below are the topics which can be asked in the XAT exam 2022:

XAT Syllabus 2022: Essay Writing​

In this section, candidates will have to write an essay on the assigned topic. There is no specific subject or issue for this section. Most probably, topic of essay will be from current issues or social issues. Candidates should write the essay in a structured manner. Candidates should be aware of all the general and current issues. They should read newspapers daily. Also, they are required to work on their writing skills and vocabulary in order to score well in this section.
