The Xavier Aptitude Test (2014) will have minor changes in its pattern of examination.
According to the latest information, General Knowledge will not be included as a separate paper this year. Instead, it will be made part of the main test.
However, the marks of General Knowledge section will not be used for determining the percentile and cut off at first stage of selection.
It will be used by XLRI and some other Associate Member Institutes at the time of final selection i.e. the interview stage.
What’s more, the duration of the main test (excluding essay) is expected to be increased by 20 minutes.
However, the entire test’s total duration remains unchanged at 3 hours.
While a lot of other entrance examinations have gone online, XAT will continue to be paper-pen based.
