Winter Semester Break at Graphic Era University

Graphic Era University has announced the dates for winter semester break for the new session.

University says that break will be availed by the faculty members and other associated staff in two slots:

• 1st slot: January 5 to January 12, 2014

• 2nd slot: January 12 to January 19, 2014

Classes will be restart on January 22, 2014 and therefore the attendance of all is compulsory on January 20, 2014. Time table for seven semesters will be displayed on this day.

Technical staff will avail the break in such a manner that Labs, library and computer centres will remain open during the semester break.

About the University

Graphic Era University was established in the year 1993 by Kamal Ghansala. It is deemed to be considered as a Graphic Era University or the Graphic Era Institute of Technology. Located in the state of Uttarakhand, GEU was passed under the UGC act of 1956 of section 3 on August 2008. In the very beginning, the university was just a Graphic Era Computer Center. Later, it was given the status of University. The institution began its functioning as a university to offer technological programs in 1998.

After it began providing technological courses, it also started offering engineering courses in 2001. Engineering programs offered by the university in areas including Information Technology, Computer Science and Electronics and Communication.

• Faculty of Computer Applications

• Faculty of Humanities and Social Science

• Faculty of Hospitality Management
