Should a student leave one's college to follow one's passion?
The answers to this question will have different distinct variations depending on whom you're asking this. If you ask me this question my answer would be- "Most certainly yes, if the guy has checked himself in the domain and he can be persistent." If you ask these questions to a professor of a reputed college/university he might as well take it as disrespect to his institution and may give very diplomatic answers. More caring ones would ask you the reason you want to leave college. But overall they aren't going to supportive of this decision of yours, logic or no logic. Ask this to some parents and you'll get mixed answers. Some conservative ones would consider leaving college as the start of a life of failure itself, some might even support with capital to help you follow your passion but those are of course rare.
Why does there arise a need to leave college? At all times in our life, our perceptions keep on changing and so do our expectations from ourselves. At one time, the college we're in presently came up as a good choice and we accepted it even if only to please our parents or to get that scholarship or something. Eventually we made peace with it but then we grew out of it.
