 LSAT-India is expanding its boundaries by announcing that a number of eminent law schools and universities across India will be using the Law School Admission Test scores for admissions, bringing the total number of such institutes to 60.

The LSAT-India, offered by the global Law School Admission Council (LSAC) is one of the leading law tests for undergraduate and postgraduate law admissions in the country.

Well known law schools including Jindal Global Law School - Sonipat, VIT Law School - Chennai, RGSOIPL-IIT Kharagpur, UPES Dehradun, Alliance University Law School -Bangalore and Sharda University- Greater Noida have been accepting LSAT-India scores for admissions.

Now, additional Institutions are accepting LSAT scores namely, Faculty of Law, SGT University, Gurgaon; Lovely Professional University, Phagwara; Faculty of Law, SRM University, Sonipat; Raffles School of Law, Raffles University, Jaipur; IFIM Law College, Bangalore; School of Law, Saveetha University, Chennai; CMR Law School, Bangalore; Disha Law College, Raipur; School of Law, Jagran Lake city University, Bhopal, MP.

The motive behind LSAT examination is to analyze the candidate’s reasoning and reading skills in a holistic manner. It believes that students should acquire critical thinking skills over their educational learning’s, and that these skills are significant for the study of law. Good critical thinking skills may be acquired in any educational programme as long as it is rigorous and of high quality. Thus, no training in any specific field is required to do well on the LSAT-India. The test rewards candidates with generalized abilities adaptable to a variety of circumstances.

Candidates have the benefit of taking a single test to become eligible for the admissions process of multiple law colleges in India which recognize the LSAT-India scores. Candidates can take the LSAT-India on Sunday 17th May, 2015 at any of the test centers spread across 16 cities in India. The results will be announced on June 11, 2015.

After completing the LSAT-India registration, candidates can apply to the associated colleges. Candidates can choose to apply to any or all of the associated colleges, however, LSAT-India scores will be given to all associated colleges. Candidates can download the application forms from the respective college websites and apply to the college mentioning their LSAT-India registration number.
