Welcome Festival at BES College for the First Year Students!

The Bhawanipur Education Society College organized an orientation program on 20th and 21st July 2015 whose theme was “D-Day” because entry into college is a new phase and a new beginning in the life of the student and hence holds extreme importance to them. The students at this stage experience different types of emotions. Some are happy and excited, some are confused and nervous and some are just curious.

The purpose of such orientation programs is to welcome them all with a smile and fun filled information about the College so that they become familiar with it.

The campus was decorated with streamers, posters, interactive standees, and signature board for students to express “first day” views and to create an atmosphere that is extremely youthful and interactive.



The students were run through the history, vision, mission and the activities of the college and also introduced to the Bhawanipur Way of Life- Learning for Leadership & Liberal Values. Following it, was an inspirational speech by the Dean of Student Affairs Prof. Dilip Shah highlighting the Mission Orientation that consists of 14 Collectives. To know more about it, click here.

Prof Dilip Shah also introduced its first diploma Course COMMERCE PLUS which will seek to empower students with skills that are not only cutting edge, but also ones that will stand them in good stead in terms of employability.
 

The response to the event was amazing. The students were free to choose their preferred collective depending on their area of interest and were open to the conclusive learning process.

Altogether it was a very exciting experience indeed.
