VITEEE 2018 Exam Pattern

VITEEE 2022 Exam Pattern – Vellore Institute of Technology will conduct its engineering entrance exam - Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE), in the month of April 2022. The registrations for the examination will begin from November 2022 onwards and will conclude the same by February 2022.

VITEEE will be conducted in a Computer Based Format or CBT at its designated centres across India and abroad. The exam will be conducted in three sessions on the examination day. Session I will be from 9 am to 11:30 am, Session II will be from 12:30 pm to 3 pm and Session III will be from 4 pm to 6:30 pm. 

VITEEE examination questions will be divided into two different sets for medical and non-medical streams. Candidates appearing for the exam will have to choose to attempt either Medical stream question paper set or Non-Medical stream set the option to attempt the paper in either of the Non-Medical stream set. The medical stream consists of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English (PCB) and Non-Medical stream consists of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English (PCM).

VITEEE 2022 Exam Pattern:

The VITEEE exam will consist of two different sets of question paper namely, medical and non-medical streams. Both the question paper will consist of multiple choice type questions carrying one mark each. Both the sets will contain 125 questions which have to be answered within 2 hours 30 mins.

The medical set will contain questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English while the medical set will contain questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. The number of questions per subject is provided below.

Mode of the examination: Online/ Computer based test (CBT)

Duration: 2 Hours and 30 Minutes

Section:

•  Physics
• Chemistry
• Mathematics/Biology
• English

No of questions: Each section will carry 40 questions. English section will be having only 5 Questions

Type of questions: Multiple Choice Questions. In English questions on grammar and pronunciation can also be asked.

Marking scheme: 1 Mark will be awarded for each right answer.
