An International level conference was held at VIT University on May 7-8, 2013. Focus of this conference was on Science, Engineering and Technology (SET).
This conference provided a forum for the exchange of ideas amongst the eager and budding Engineering /Science students in the country and outside, besides providing a common platform to demonstrate their research capabilities. This conference motivated the participants to deliberate on frontier areas of science, engineering and technology.
This event also enabled the young Scientists, Engineers and Technologists to network amongst likeminded individuals and to improve the visibility of their research endeavors, apart from honing their soft skills.
Registration was compulsory for all internal and external students to present their Paper. The Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland will publish selected papers of SET'13 Conference in their “Advanced Materials Research” Journal - a reputed Scopus indexed Journal. As per the journal policy, only Science, Electronics, Electrical, Nanotechnology and Mechanical Engineering related papers will get preference.
Students, whose papers will be published basis SET Conference, will be rewarded with Cash Prize of 2000/- if they can improve their works later to publish in an indexed journal. They will be also provided with Certificate of Appreciation from VIT University.
