Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Co-operative Management-PGDM Agri-Business Management (ABM): Admission Notification

Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Co-operative Management is approved by AICTE. The institute provides post graduate programmes. It is well known that the Cooperative Movement envisaged to provide answers to the problems of rural credit in India, owes its origin to the sponsorship of Government. Beginning with Sir Fredrick Nicholson's Report in 1885 on the issue of training to the Cooperative leadership entrusted with the duty of building up the Cooperative Movement, has always been emphasized. But, it was not until 1945 that the Saraiya Committee on Cooperative Planning recommended the establishment of a Cooperative Training College at the State level and Central level.

Courses Offered: 

Applications are invited for admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Management  with specialization in Agri-Business Management (ABM) (PGDM-ABM) – 2012 – 2014.

Eligibility Criteria: 

Graduate from a recognized University, with minimum education of 15 years (10+2+3) with atleast 50% marks for the General / OBC (non creamy) candidates and 45% marks for SC / ST candidates in Graduation.

Latest Valid Test scores of any one of the National level Tests - CAT / MAT / XAT / ATMA / CMAT at the time of application. These guidelines may get modified / subject to be modified depending upon AICTE guidelines from time to time.

The percentage obtained by the candidate in the Bachelor's Degree would be based on the practice followed by the University / institution from where the candidate has obtained the degree.

Applicants who have appeared for bachelor's degree examination and awaiting results may also apply subject to fulfillment of conditions by 14/08/2012.

Application Procedure:

The prescribed application form can be downloaded from the website and apply with valid score of CAT / MAT / XAT / ATMA / CMAT from 5th January 2012 to 29th February 2012 by post along with demand draft of Rs.1100/- in favour of "The Director, VAMNICOM, Pune".
