Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2013 (UPTET 2013) on 27th & 28th June, 2013

Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2013 (UPTET 2013) will be conducted by Basic Education Council, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, on 27th and 28th June, 2013.

Validity Period of UPTET Certificate, UPTET Frequency

Frequency of Conduct of UPTET Examination:

The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) is conducted at least once a year.

Validity period of UPTET Certificate:

• The Validity Period of UPTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be five years from the date of passing UPTET.
• Validity of already qualified STET certificate of all the above said three categories will continue for a period of five years (from the date of passing on the pattern of present UPTET), instead of unspecified period.

Number of available attempts to appear:

• There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring UPTET Certificate.
• Candidates who have already qualified UPTET will have the option to appear in the fresh UPTET to improve their score, if they so desire as the weightage will be given to UPTET score at the time of recruitment.

Note:

• The Certificate of Primary Level Category will be valid for Classes I to V only.
• The Certificate of Upper primary level Category will be valid for Classes VI to VIII only.

Important Dates

Date of UPTET 2013 Exam: 27 & 28 June 2013 (First shift: 10.00 am to 12.30 noon, Second shift: 2.30 pm to 5.00 pm)

UPTET 2013 Result Date: within 4 weeks from the date of UPTET 2013 Exam.
