Directorate of Medical Education & Training, UP is responsible for establishment and maintenance of medical colleges and institutions in the state. The Directorate also aims to provide research facilities in medical institutes and standard medical facilities in the state.
Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre Medical Test (UPCPMT) 2012 is conducted by Directorate of Medical Education & Training, UP for admission to undergraduate medical courses like Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) and Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS) in medical and dental colleges of Uttar Pradesh.
Eligibility Criteria for UPCPMT 2012
- You should have completed 10+2 with Biology, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry or any other elective subject with English.
- You must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board with Biology, Chemistry and Physics with a practical test and English as a compulsory subject.
- You must have passed pre-professional/pre-medical examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology after passing 10+2.
- You must have passed first year of the three years degree course from a recognized university with Physics, Chemistry and Biology including a practical test and you should have passed 10+2 with English.
- You must have passed B.Sc. examination with two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology).
Application Procedure for UPCPMT 2012
- You can apply for UPCPMT 2012 by obtaining application form individually from major branches of Allahabad Bank in Uttar Pradesh by paying Rs. 1050 with Rs. 30 (Bank Charges) in cash (General/ OBC) and Rs. 550 with Rs. 30 (Bank Charges) in cash (SC/ST).
