Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya will organize a seminar on Utkrishtata: Human Excellence on December 14, 2013

The Seminar Utkrishtata intends to make a study on Swami Vivkenanda’s perspective on growth and well being of common man. A man may be intellectual, devotional or mystic. In his view, an ideal man is the one having an integrated personality.

Swami Vivekananda points out that the Western tie of human excellence is based on human dignity, self-confidence, strength and social welfare. It concentrates on the external development of man. He also points out the Indian concept of human excellence, concentrates on the inner spiritual development of man. Swami Vivekananda proclaims the secret of true human excellence lies in beautiful culmination of the West and the East.
