UPTU to sign a MOU with INTEL in December 2013

Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) is pleased to announce that UPTU would be signing a MOU with INTEL for a long term corporation for enhancing capacity of all the constituent institutes.

There will be several faculty development programmes meant to benefit the faculty as well as the students. The first of such FDP on Embedded System with focus on Intel Atom Processor is being organized for the faculty members on December 9-11, 2013.

This workshop is expected to be very useful and university requested all the college to encourage their faulty members to attend this workshop. There is no registration fee so the workshop is free to all. Workshop will start at 10 in the morning.

 About the University

Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) is a public university in India. To reduce workload and to ensure proper management, the university was bifurcated into separate universities: Gautam Buddha Technical University and Mahamaya Technical University with effect from May 1, 2010. But in 2013 as Samajwadi Party came into power this university was again formed by combining Gautam Buddha Technical University and Mahamaya Technical University on January 5, 2013.

The university offers undergraduate courses in engineering, architecture, hotel management and catering technology, fashion and apparel design, and pharmacy, leading to degrees of B. Tech, B. Arch, BHMCT, BFAD, and B. Pharma respectively. The university offered postgraduate courses in Computer Applications and Business Administration leading to degrees of MCA, MBA and MBA (Rural Development).
