University Institute of Engineering and Technology organizes IEEE fest

IEEE Student Branch of University Institute of Engineering and Technology(UIET), Punjab University, Chandigarh will organize its first ever IEEE fest "AARAMBH" in September.

Though, the date of this event has not been decided yet, it is expected to be the grand event ever. It will emphasis on enhancing the technical knowledge and skills among the students of various fields.

The goal of the "AARAMBH" is to ensure the growth of skill and knowledge in all technical professions and to foster individual commitment for continuing education among the engineering and scientific communities, and the general public.

The University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET) is an engineering institute of Punjab University, Chandigarh. It offers undergraduate (BE), postgraduate (dual degree BE+MBA, M. Tech degree) as well as doctoral courses. The institute is granted funds from the central government to improve its infrastructure and facilities. UIET has interactions and Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs) with industry and academia like Infosys, IBM, IMTECH, Bharti Group (Bharti Chair for research), and Sun Microsystems.
