About University of Delhi

University of Delhi is one of the illustrious universities of the country and well famed for its education, pedagogy which fetch eminent scholars to its faculty. The University was incepted in the year 1922 as a unitary, teaching and residential university by an Act of the then Central Legislative Assembly. In starting days of University have only three colleges under its roof, which are St.  Stephen’s   Hindu College Ramjas College but existing time University has 16 faculties, 86 academic departments, 77   colleges  and 5  other  recognised   institutes  spread all over the city, with 132435 regular  students.
