UCEED 2022 is an entrance exam conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, under the guidance of the UCEED Admission Committee 2022. It is open to all nationals (Indian as well as foreign nationals). UCEED 2022 Eligibility Criteria:

The candidates who are seeking admission to design colleges/universities under UCEED 2022 should fulfill certain criteria for eligibility. The eligibility criteria for UCEED 2022 is nothing but a set of requirements the authorities want candidates to meet. The eligibility criteria for UCEED 2022 are as follows:

Criterion 1: Age Limit

The OPEN/OBC-NCL Candidate should have born on or after October 1, 1997, and SC/ST/PwD Candidates should have born on or after October 1, 1992.

Criterion 2: No. of Attempts:

Candidate can attempt UCEED 2022 maximum of two times that and that too in consecutive years.

Criterion 3: Qualifying Examination

Candidate should have passed the qualifying examination (Class 12 or equivalent) in 2022 or appearing in 2022.  Candidates from all streams are eligible

Criterion 4: Nationality

All nationals can apply for UCED 2022.

Note: Those who appeared for the first time in their qualifying examination in 2022 are not eligible for UCEED 2022.

UCEED 2022 Exam Pattern:

UCEED exam pattern 2022 consists of the structure of the paper including subjects, exam duration, marks allotted, negative marking and type of questions. Exam pattern of UCEED 2022 will help the students make an effective study plan while paying attention to all the subjects and topics. 

Mode of Examination: Online mode

Number of Questions: The test will have total 80 questions of maximum 300 marks.

Type of Questions: Type of questions in each section will vary from each other.

  • Section A will have 20 questions of Numerical Answer Type (NAT).
  • Section B contains total 20 Multiple Select Questions (MSQ).
  • Section C contains 40 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).

Number of Sections: 3 sections (A, B and C.)

Exam Duration: 3 hours

Marking Scheme: Each correct answer in Section A will carry 4 marks, Section B carries 4 marks for each right answer and for Section C, 3 marks will be given for each correct response.

Negative Marking: There is a negative marking of 1 mark in section C only.
