Department of Electronics Engineering of MIT Campus, Anna University is organising a two day workshop on Internet of Things (IoT) on November 18, 2015 and November 19, 2015 which is sponsored by University Grants Commission (UGC).
The Internet of Things (IoT) involves network of ‘things’, embedded with sensors that can be identified, addressed and named, seamlessly connecting to the internet. The number of connected devices worldwide is estimated to reach between 26 billion and 50 billion by 2020.
The goal of the workshop is to impart working knowledge in Internet of Things to academic and research community. Following topics will be addressed in the workshop by renowned experts from industry and academia:
- IoT Opportunities and Challenges
- Architecture of IoT
- Smart Health and IoT
- IoT applications/data analytics
- Operating Systems for Constrained Devices
- Communication and Networking for Constrained Devices
- Building of IoT
- Hands-on Training
About the Registration:
- Selection in first come first serve basis based on the profile of the participant
- Preference will be given to participants who are already working in the field of WSN and IoT
- Selected candidates will be intimated through e-mail
- Confirmation of participation is expected through e-mail
- No TA/DA will be paid
- No Registration Fee
- No accommodation will be provided
