‘Tvaran 2013’: Sport Event at Kamala Nehru Institute of Technology

Kamala Nehru Institute of Technology presented the mega sports event ‘Tvaran 2013’ on October 23-26, 2013.

Institute invited all who are crazy for football to join this event. Participants from different colleges made their presence for the game whose very existence defines teamwork, discipline, mutual respect and above all the heart throbbing experience of 'KICKS' across the grounds.

Rules and Regulation for the sport event:

• Match will be 11-a side

• Maximum number of players will be 15

• All players should be in proper kit.(kit will not be provided)

• Fifa Rules

• Refree's decision will be the last decision

• College will not be responsible for any types of injury

Only one team was allowed to register from each college for a particular sport. Each member required to carry his/her identity card and 2 passport size coloured photographs as these are required for registration.

Registration fee was Rs.700/- per team member.

Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology is located at Sultanpur. KNIT was Initially Established as the Faculty of Technology in Kamla Nehru Institute of Science and Technology, Sultanpur in the year 1976 by Kamla Nehru Memorial Trust. It was taken over by the govt. of Uttar Pradesh in 1979 with a view to develop a full-fledged engineering institute in the Eastern UP region better known as the Awadh region. Initially institute was named as Kamla Nehru Institute of Science & Technology (Technological faculty) which was changed to Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology, Sultanpur in 1983.
