Integral University is organizing a fun event Treasure Hunt today on February 21, 2014 from 2 pm at the campus.
Treasure Hunt is a different type of puzzle, mind boggling activity which makes its players use the knowledge they have received during their education. They try to find hidden articles (treasures) on different locations by using a series of clues based on technical education. Treasure Hunt is an outdoor activity.
Rules of the event:
• Each team will have 4 players.
• Questions are from aptitude, verbal ability, coding/decoding, GK, current affairs and general questions from the first year of engineering so that all the active students from every year and every branch can participate.
• Team members can use their cellphones (for internet) to solve a problem.
• There will be 3 rounds. In each round, a specific number of teams, collecting their treasures in minimum time, will enter the next round.
• To avoid objections regarding the distribution of different questions to teams, all the questions will be written in a slip and mixed in a bowl. A team member will pick up a slip and that set of questions will be allotted to that team.
Qualifying Round:
• Any number of teams can participate in the 1st round.
• The solution to the given 5 questions will point to ONE hidden treasure.
• The team members after solving their questions will have to proceed further by searching their treasure.
Battle Round:
• The first 10 qualified teams will enter this round.
• In the second round, 3 treasures will be searched by every team.
• One member of each team has to select 3 slips (from the mixed bowl), each slip containing 3 questions, for each treasure.
Finale Round:
• 3 teams will qualify for the last round.
• At first, each team will search for 3 different treasures of their own.
• After all the 3 treasures have been found, the clues for a final treasure will be given.
• This final treasure will be common to all three teams.
• The team which reaches the final treasure wins.
