Maintain a Schedule – Planning a proper schedule will give you the advantage of precise time management.

Allot a specific timeframe to a specific subject and make this a weekly habit. Select a few topics and try to finish them by the end of the week and dedicate the weekends for revision of those topics.

Know Your Syllabus – before you start your preparation make sure you are well versed with your syllabus. Not only will this give you an idea about what to study but it will also make you aware of unknown topics, or the difficult topics. This will help you   prioritise your work.

Subject Marks – The JEE examinations comprise of 3 subjects (Math ,Chemistry , Physics) It is important to know the weightage of  topics of each subject so that you can start  with topics holding more weightage first and then proceed to the ones with less weightage of marks.

Clear Your Concepts – Devote extensive time clearing your concepts, remembering and understanding the concepts will make problem solving much easier. Once your concepts are clear start solving problems, this will help you know where you are going wrong.

Make Notes – You can’t keep everything in your head, it i a huge syllabus. Thus remembering all the important things are next to impossible. Keep writing down the important points, write down the formulas and equations and go through them at least twice a day.

Don't Ignore Your Health – Make your schedule in such a manner that you get sufficient time to sleep. Dedicate a major chunk of your time to studying, and plan other activities wisely. It is essential that you get ample time to sleep    - a fresh and healthy brain works much better than a tired one. Eat healthy - your diet should consist of nutrients more than calories.

Coaching Classes/Group Studies – Joining Coaching classes or being a part of a group gives an advantage to continuously stay in touch with the studies. It also gives you the advantage of discussing you problem with others and finding various solutions.

Previous Question Papers – Start solving previous years’ question papers on a regular basis, noting your scores, and checking out whether you are showing a progressive improvement or not.

Don't Stress – Stressing out will only keep you away from your goal. If you follow a proper plan there shouldn’t be a reason for stress.

Study Everyday – Studying everyday will keep you up to date with your syllabus. Do not leave things for the last minute. This will increase your stress and that is something you don’t want. Solve mathematical problems every day.
