Teacher’s Day Celebration with Great Fervor at APIIT, Panipat

For the students of Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology (APIIT) Teachers' Day became an occasion to pay reverence and gratitude to teachers for their selfless effort in shaping their career and enriching the education system in the process. The day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in the college Auditorium on September 5, 2013 from 3.00PM onward.

The ceremony kicked off with a warm Teachers' Day speech paying respect and thanking teachers for their contribution. This was followed by a range of colorful cultural programs, feast and other activities which made the event special and memorable.

The teachers were gifted colourful flowers and beautiful cards as a token of love and appreciation. At the end, the teachers were gifted plants which symbolize the teachers’ power of nurturing the students. The plants will forever remind the teachers of the flowers they have produced to spread fragrance in the society.

Everyone has been a student at some stage of life and has benefited from the teachers. Celebration of Teachers' Day is a wonderful opportunity to show one’s gratitude and appreciation to the teachers. What could have been better than the smile with which each teacher left that day? Teaching is said to be a thankless job but the students of APIIT proved it wrong this time.
