Tamil Nadu Medical Admissions 2016: Applications Available from May 9

Tamil Nadu medical admissions 2022 will be announced by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME). The applications for the same will be made available on May 9, 2022, to grant admission to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Sciences (BDS) programmes for 2022-17 academic session.

The application forms will be available on the official website of Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of India. The candidates can also submit their applications in the prescribed format until 5:00 PM, May 26, 2022. The merit list is expected to be announced on June 15, 2022, and the classes will begin on August 1, 2022.

• Take print out of the filled application form

The candidates have to submit the application form along with application fee of Rs. 500 to DME.

According to the sources, 20 government medical colleges will participate in the process and there are around 2655 seats available. Out of these 2655 seats, 2257 seats belong to state quota and 398 seats are reserved for all-India quota.
