Student Strike Leads to Positive change in Koustuv Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar

On 19th September, 2011 the students of Koustuv Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar went on a strike to demand mandatory campus recruitment to 4^th year students of the institute. 

This was possible because of the efforts of the assistance of Prof.Niladri, Dept. Head for Training and Placement, who convinced the students that the placements would start taking place in the coming days.

In another incident, the students were taken to INFOSYS to attend the event "Spark-an-Aspirants", where they were informed about the importance of the IT sector and its role in making our everyday life easier and helpful.

Besides the students of Koustuv Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar, 4 different colleges also visited Infosys totaling about 700 students. In addition to the knowledge gained during this field trip, the students were also taken to see the facilities available in the premises like swimming pool, hostel, gymnasium, food bazaar and several other departments.

The tour included a wholesome and hygienic meal as well.
