SSC (Secondary School Certificate) is a public examination for the 10th class students. SSC is awarded to all the students who pass the exam, and the certificate is an indication of completion of 10years of schooling. AP Directorate of Government Examination conducts the SSC Eaminations in Andhra Pradesh. The 2011 SSC exams were held between March 24 - April 7, 2011. More than 15 lakh students took the SSC exam this year.
Beginning this year, the SSC Board has changed its grading system wherein the passed candidates will be alloted grades according to their marks. The Grades are given from A1 to E2, including the failure students. In the grading system, E stands for 194 marks and below and A1 stands for marks scored between 550 - 600 (the highest).
