The students of S P Jain School of Global Management, Singapore got the grand opportunity of interacting with famous Indian Cricketer Virender Sehwag on August 22, 2014.
Sehwag, who is now in his mid-30s, made his one-day international debut for India 15 years ago. Known for his aggressive batsmanship, Sehwag always took the game of cricket to another level.
Recently, the MBA students at S P Jain School of Global Management, Singapore saw another version of Sehwag, who doled out tips on how one can conquer the corporate world through perseverance.
He also spoke to students about his glory days in cricket and expressed his thoughts on leadership. At the “leadership in sports” event that followed, Sehwag narrated interesting anecdotes from his cricketing career.
Another message that he had for students was that talent alone is not enough. It is the performance that decides one's fate, just like it does in cricket.
