Special OJEE Exam Will be Conducted on July 31, 2016

OJEE, which is an acronym for Odisha Joint Entrance Examination, is a special JEE test that will be held this year too. The Orissa High Court has asked the government to conduct the Special Odisha Joint Entrance Examination to fill up the B.Tech seats lying vacant in various engineering colleges within the state.

OJEE is a special test was started from 2011 and is conducted every year, with the only exception of 2013 when the board didn’t conduct any special Odisha JEE. The state of Orissa has finalized July 31, 2022 as the date to conduct OJEE 2022, whereas the Second OJEE to fill up the remaining seats in MCA and MBA courses will be conducted on the same day.

HC on Special OJEE 2022 Exam

The high court decision came on a petition that the Odisha Private Engineering College Associate filed. The petition was filed to contest the intake of B.Tech students in Odisha engineering colleges on the based on the single ALL India JEE which was called as the violation of a provision of Odisha Professional Education Act.

Special OJEE 2022 Exam Date

Special OJEE 2022 exam date, as finalized by the Odisha government, is July 31, 2022. The second Odisha JEE, as per the provision in Odisha Professional Education Act, will be held to fill up more than 32,000 seats that are lying vacant out a total 45,000 in 93 engineering colleges in the state. Seats filled on the basis of AIJEE accounts for just 30 percent of the total seats available. The special OJEE Result will be announced on the later date.
