Manav Rachna College of Engineering conducted a Soft Skill Development Programme under Infosys Campus Connect Star 3.0 Programme during June 9-12, 2014. MRCE is a Member Partner Institute of Infosys Ltd. for the campus connect programme.
The Soft Skills Program – ‘Business Communication & Team Work’, under Infosys Campus Connect STAR 3.0 program, was rolled out by Mr. Manas Tyagi of Infosys Ltd. STAR 3.0 program is based on the eminent need for young professionals to exhibit high levels of maturity, ethics and business acumen in all transactions. The primary focus is on enhancing communication and confidence, instilling the company values and facilitating gain of business awareness. The purpose of this program at MRCE was to develop a large pool of faculty members (30) to deliver the Soft Skills course to the students in the same style and depth as Infosys.
The program emphasised on Facilitation Skills, Business Communication Skills and Effective Interactions, Intrapersonal and Interpersonal Skills, and Speak Up Quotient and Presentation Skills. Mr. Manas delivered the program through presentations, and rolled out the course through active faculty participation in role plays and various activities. This activity based learning helped faculty to effectively imbibe the essence of this soft skills program.
