SET 2017 Exam Pattern

The Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is a university level examination conducted by Symbiosis International University. It is conducted for admission to various undergraduate courses of the Symbiosis University and its constituent institutions in Law, Design, Engineering, Health Sciences and Computers. The pen-paper based test is conducted once in a year in various cities across the country. Every year huge number of aspirants appears for this examination. Symbiosis International University has not yet released any official notification regarding SET 2022.

All the interested and eligible candidates planning to appear for the test need to start preparing for the exam in advance. To get a clear understanding of the difficulty level of the paper, you must know the exam pattern and syllabus of the course that you have applied.

SET 2022 Exam Pattern

Given below are a few points regarding the SET 2022 exam pattern:-

1. SET 2022 is an objective-type test.
2. The exam will be conducted in two sessions for five question papers. A candidate can apply for one paper in each session.
3. Duration of the examination is 150 minutes (2.5 hours).
4. There will be no negative marking in the paper.

Given below is the SET 2022 exam pattern for different courses-

SET 2022: Exam Pattern for Law

• The examination paper will be divided in to five sections namely Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Reading Comprehensions and General Knowledge.
• Every section will consist of 30 questions of one mark each.
• There will 150 questions in the examination paper.

SET 2022: Exam Pattern for Design

• The examination will have one section namely Design Aptitude.
• There will be 150 questions of one mark each.

SET 2022: Exam Pattern for General

• The question paper will be divided into four sections, General English, Quantitative, General Awareness and Logical Reasoning.
• General English, Quantitative and General Awareness will consist of 40 questions, while Analytical and Logical Reasoning will consist of 30 questions of one mark each.
• There will be 150 questions in total.

SET 2022: Exam Patten for Engineering

• There are 100 questions in the examination paper.
• The examination paper will be divided into three sections including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
• Physics and Chemistry consist of 25 questions, while Mathematics will consist of 50 questions of two marks each.

SET 2022: Exam Pattern for Health Sciences

• The examination paper carries 100 questions in total.
• The examination paper will be divided into three sections including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
• Physics and Chemistry consist of 25 questions, while Mathematics will consist of 50 questions of two marks each.
