Selection of Google Student Ambassador from ITMU

Mr Aman Malik, Roll no-10ITU007, from IT branch of ITM University has been selected as Google Student Ambassador for the academic year 2013-14.

From all over India 1,750 students from more than 500 universities spread over 100 towns had been nominated for this title, out of which only 270 could made into final selection based upon a telephonic interview, on line assessment procedure and the uploading of a video.

Mr Aman has been invited by Google to represent ITM University in Google Summit 2013 scheduled to be held in Goa from August 1-4, 2013. All the selected students from top universities (including IITs and NITs) will be attending the summit for interaction and training purpose.

Google student ambassador program was launched in India in 2007.This is for the first time that such a rare fete has been achieved by an ITMU student since its launch in 2007. It no doubt gives a platform to showcase our talent at such a glorified national platform.

This program was an opportunity for technocrats to act as liaisons between Google and their colleges or universities. Moreover they would learn more about innovative Google products and programs, plan and host events on campus and other activities to enhance their technical and professional knowledge, leadership and communication skills.

It has been facilitated by a constant follow up with Google along with training and motivation provided to Mr. Aman by the School of Professional Attachment.
