‘SCR 2013’: TEQIP Sponsored Workshop at BIT, Mesra

Department of Applied Chemistry, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra organized a workshop on October 3, 2013.

It was a TEQIP Sponsored workshop on “Software in Chemical Science Education & Research”. Interested candidates were requested to register on the payment of Rs. 300/-via email on or before September 30, 2013.

Session had started on scheduled date with registration process sharp by 9 in the morning till 10. Eminent speaker Dr. A. Sharon, Applied Chemistry, BIT Mesra delivered his speech on the topic "Efficient reference managing in scientific documentation".

A practical demonstration was given on "How to manage references in scientific documentation such as manuscript, thesis, report etc. using Reference Manager Software End Note".

After the tea and lunch break sessions were conducted on topics like A Quantum Chemistry Simulation, Software for Chemistry/Life Science, Mass Spectrometry & NMR Data analysis, Molecular Modeling & Simulation.

The workshop came to the end by 4 pm with vote of thanks to the guests.
