Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET) has invited applications for admission into various Bachelors and Masters programme for the year 2015.
Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET) is located at Longowal in Sangrur (Punjab). It was established in the year 1991 by the Government of India. The institute is an autonomous body, fully funded by the Government of India and regulated by SLIET community.

Eligibility Criteria:
(3 Year) Integrated Certificate - Diploma (ICD) Programme -The minimum qualification for admission is Matric pass (Pass in English, Mathematics and Science is compulsory) from a State Education Board / CBSE / ICSE / National Open School or an equivalent examination recognized / approved by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.
(2-Year) Diploma Programme - Admission to the 2 year Diploma Programmes is only for the students of SLIET admitted in the Year 2013. Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved categories) in the qualifying examination B.E Programme
M.Tech Programme - Aspirants should hold a B.Tech/B.E/B.Sc (Engg) Degree of a deemed University/Institute in the appropriate branch, or has passed Section “B” of the Institution of Engineers (India) in appropriate branch or Grade IETE and has three years of professional experience in a reputed organization.
The aspirants must have secured at least 60% marks (55% in case of candidates belonging to reserved categories)
Candidates must have a valid GATE score.
Selection Procedure:
Applicants applying for bachelor's degree must appear for 'All India SLIET Entrance Test' and the admission will take place based on the cutoff
The selection of the candidates applying for master's degree will be based on a Group Discussion and an Interview.

The applicants must apply online for their registration and must be ready with a soft copy of their photograph, scanned signature and list of the test centres.

General (Boys) applicants is Rs. 1200
General (Girls) applicants is Rs. 800
SC/ST (Boys and Girls) applicants is Rs.600
