Sale of IGNOU Forms Begin

IGNOU was established in 1985 and is associated with government agencies and other open universities through international organisations like UNESCO, the Commonwealth Secretariat, the Commonwealth of Learning, the World Health Organisation and the World Wide Fund (WWF) with more than 60 regional centres in the country and abroad.

Those who are working or are busy to pursue a full time course, buckle up. It's time for IGNOU admissions. The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will start the sale of its forms for distance learning for undergraduate courses from Monday, 27 June onwards.

Interested candidates can get the prospectus and admission form by post by sending a demand draft of Rs. 150 in favor of ‘IGNOU’ payable at New Delhi to the Registrar, Student Registration Division, Block – 3, IGNOU Headquarters. Students from outside Delhi can obtain the student handbook and prospectus on payment of Rs100 from their concerned regional centers. The last date of applying is July 29.

The most sought after course in IGNOU is undoubtedly B. Com. Besides this, the university also offers a BBA course in retailing. Other courses include Bachelor of Tourism Studies, Bachelor of Social Work and Bachelor of Computer Applications.
