Run for a Cause with NMIMS's ASM School of Commerce's flagship Social Responsibility event - Aarambh in January 2015

Running for something, for someone, for a cause. Running with a Social Responsibility forum, with your friends, with your classmates - the experience is priceless. Aarambh’15, is a social responsibility initiative by NMIMS’ ASM School of Commerce, Mumbai. Aarambh 15' marathon will contribute all proceeds to the SMILE Foundation. The marathon will be carried out along a 5km stretch, that will start & end at Taj Lands End near Bandstand, Bandra. 

Aarambh 15' is the result of NMIMS students' attempt to do something for someone in need. Every year NMIMS collaborates with an NGO and all the funds generated through the event are donated to an NGO. This year NMIMS has joined hands with SMILE Foundation. SMILE Foundation is an NGO that works in 22 states across the country for the benefit of underprivileged children living in slums and rural areas. They endeavor to improve their lives by working on livelihood, women empowerment and sanitation schemes. SRF feels a strong connect with this cause. Children are the future of our nation.Though underprivileged these children have a spark, that should not be dimmed because of their surroundings.

NMIMS's ASM School of Commerce, Mumbai calls upon all students and wards alike to participate in Aarambh. Alll one needs to give will be a little time and a nominal contribution through the participation fee (for SMILE Foundation), but most importantly to be there on the day of the event. Please come to encourage NMIMS students to run for these small children.

Schedule:

Time of Marathon	7 am to 9am
Time of Registration	6am onwards
Registration Fee	Rs. 100 only

Note - Every participant present at the day of event will get vouchers up to Rs 2000.

Winners:

• Male and female get Rs. 10,000 cash each and Rs.20,000 worth vouchers each
• 1st runner-up male and female will get Rs. 5,000 cash each and Rs. 15,000 worth vouchers each
