Rude behaviour of IGNOU staff towards the students

Rude behaviour in college classrooms is often a matter of course. But if it comes to the staff coordinating with the students at the time of admission, student is nowhere to go. Often we have noticed that admin staff or college staffs every now and then behave rudely, be it in office or college or school. The reason can be anything but students who are coming for quarry about something are not supposed to face this kind of response.

A recent report has revealed that Ankit Kumar an aspirants of IGNOU had rudely treated by the staff while enquiry about his courses and all.

IGNOU’s sessions are segregated into January and June for the entire year. An ample amount of students apply for those sessions throughout the year and Ankit is one of them. He was taken admission in May 2013 for Master Degree.

When he didn’t get any confirmation of his registration he personally visited the IGNOU Regional Centre, Gandhi Smriti & Darshan Samiti, Rajghat, New Delhi, along with his friend Ishwinder Singh. But despite of getting any kind of updates, both were treated rudely by IGNOU staff operating at the centre. They even unable to check his name and didn’t informed about study materials and other essentials.

Every now and then we are facing this type of incidents. In college time by the admin staff or teachers, in workplace by our seniors or colleagues, at public places etc. Persons appointed to guide or direct the students or who are sitting in “May I help u desk” should behave properly towards the person enquiring. Whatever the reason one should not co-relate his/her personal problems to professional. If you are appointed to serve the public then do it with your earnest zeal.
