Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has delayed the results for stage I examination of RRB NTPC 2022 and is now making efforts to declare them by the last week of October 2022. The exam that recruits candidates for Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) was conducted in the month of March to May 2022.
Candidates who clear the first stage will be called to appear for a computer-based test (CBT) under stage II. The board will announce the dates for second stage examination on its official web portal once they have been finalized.
Aspiring candidates should also note that the number of candidates who will make it to second stage will be 15 times more than the total number of vacancies. Under stage II examination, candidates will have to answer 120 multiple-choice questions within 90 minutes comprising of questions on Mathematics, General Awareness, Reasoning and general Intelligence.
The merit list of stage II and the result of typ9ing skill/ aptitude test will be combined to make final selection of candidates. Marks will be normalized based according to the prevailing first and second stage exam rules.
RRB had released notification in December 2015 to fill-in 18, 252 posts including clerks, assistant station master, typist, apprentice, goods guards and junior accounts assistant under technical and non-technical fields. About 92 lakh candidates applied for the posts, out of which 56 lakh appeared for NTPC exams.
